Reflective writing

In order to move forward with my fmp I need to place more consideration on why I have chosen certain elements, deicing that triangles are an effective way of translating organic matter into the architectural space. Further the use f oct scans harness the concept of color within the project as well as the biomimicry elements. Biomimicry is further explored into the shape of the building by resembles a brain itself. The project with allow the viewer to climb inside it (once it has dissolved) and physical view their brain. The CT scan and used are of those reacting to stimulus, this is enhanced by the idea of using sugar (and cotton candy in the model) which acts as a stimulus. The viewer with have a chance to look at their brain as it will be simultaneous reacting to the stimulus in front of them. I will further my ideas of organic architecture by integrating the inside component more with the outside component, as to avoid the “shell like structure” most architecture follows in favor of one that “grows outwards”. The inclusion of three elements to the structure is intentional, mimicking the outside to the conscious level, the dissolvable element to the preconscious level and finally the inside element to the unconscious level.
